I have another awesome craft for you that Mama made for me. This one is a vanity puff, which is a comfortable, fluffy seat you sit on in front of a vanity table.
Here is a picture of me next to it, so you can see the size of it to me in comparison.
If you would like to make a vanity puff like this for yourself, please feel free to use the following instructions, but also please make sure to link back to this page for credit. Thank you! 😊

Instructions
Bottom Piece:
~ With amethyst yarn create a Magic Circle, ch 2, 5 dc in circle, sl st tog, pull tight on loose end to close circle.
~ Round 1 - ch 2, 1 dc in same st (counts as two sts), 3 dc in each st around, sl st tog = 17 sts.
~ Round 2 - ch 2, 1 dc in same st (counts as two sts), 2 dc in each st around, sl st tog = 34 sts.
~ Round 3 - ch 2, 1 dc in next st, 2 dc in next 15 sts, 1 dc in next 2 sts, 2 dc in next 15 sts, sl st tog = 64 sts.
~ Round 4 - ch 2, 1 dc in each st around, sl st tog.
~ Round 5 to 12 - Repeat round 4, fasten off.
~ There is no need to weave your loose end in because it will be automatically inside the bottom piece.
Top Piece:
~ With amethyst yarn create a Magic Circle, ch 2, 5 dc in circle, sl st tog, pull tight on loose end to close circle.
~ Repeat rounds 1 to 4, do NOT fasten off.
Decorative Band:
~ Cut 6 long strands from the baby pink yarn, and tie a knot at one end while leaving a fringe.
~ Hold two strands each together and braid the strands, then tie a knot at the end. Trim the fringe.
Put It Together:
~ Lay top piece across the open end of the bottom piece, and sc top to bottom by working through both layers.
~ When you have about 3/4 of the top attached to the bottom, insert one of the cardboard circles, and push it to the bottom of the piece.
~ Stuff bottom piece with polyester fiber fill, lay second cardboard circle on top, sc the rest of the opening closed, and fasten off.
* If you think that you did not stuff the puff full enough of fiber fill before closing the rest of the opening, simply use the blunt end of your crochet hook to carefully insert more fiber fill through the gaps between the double crochet stitches. *
~ Pull your loose end to the inside of the puff with the tapestry needle.
~ Weave the decorative band through the stitches close to the top of the puff by going over two stitches and under two stitches as shown in the picture. I did this very carefully with the crochet hook. Repeat weaving until your band reaches all the way around the puff. Tie the band into a bow, but do NOT pull it tight.
~ You're done! 😀
Have fun, and if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask, and please don't forget to link back to this page if you use this pattern. 😉
