Doll Poncho

Hello, doll friends!

A couple of months ago Enrique received a sombrero, so he asked Mama if he could have a poncho to go along with it. Mama set to work, and here is Enrique, proudly showing off the result:

Doesn't he look great?

Here is a view from the back

Doll Play Suit

Hello, doll friends!

After we received our adorable kitty cat hats, which you can find HERE, Mama thought it would be fun for us to have a play suit to go along with the hats, and since the temperatures around here have really been strange, with one day warm and the next day chilly, we can't pack our warm clothes away just yet, so for the colder days we gladly wear our cute new play suits.

Let's take a look at them:

Mama made two versions of the play suit, and here you see Luciana wearing hers, which was made in the First Version. Isn't this cute?

This is the back of Luciana's First Version play suit

As an alternative, here am I, wearing the Second Version play suit, which is going to belong to the new sister we're supposed to meet soon. You can see the difference in the colors of the neckline and shoulders

And here is the Second Version play suit from the back. As in the picture above, you can see the difference in colors for the shoulders

All of us in our new outfits. I love how they match the hats. Across the front, Mama stitched the word "meow", but she included some additional words with the pattern for you to choose from.

From left to right: Luciana in purple, Hiedra in turquoise, Josefina in black, and me in pink.

Luciana's, Josefina's and my suit were made in the First Version, and Hiedra's, as well as the red play suit shown above for our new sister, were made in the Second Version.

Doll Kitty Cat Hat

Hello, everyone!

A couple of weeks ago Mama designed a kitty hat for adults....human adults, that is. We were so jealous that they're now able to knit and wear cat hats, and we're not, that Mama promised to make us some as well, and as always, she kept her promise. She even made them each in our favorite colors, but she changed the pattern a bit, which we like even better than the human version 😊

Here are the pictures:

Hiedra's favorite colors are any shades of blue and green, so Mama made her hat in turquoise

Here we have Josefina's black hat, my pink one, Luciana's purple hat, and the red one on the bottom left is for a new sister we're supposed to get. Hmmm....I wonder who it could be!

I Am Batman Sweater

Hello, everyone!

A few days ago we observed Mama busily knitting with black and yellow yarn and asked her what she's working on. She said she's making a Batman sweater for our future brother because Batman is his favorite superhero. How cool is that?

Once the sweater was done, Josefina was chosen to model it.

Let's look at the pictures:

Doesn't that look awesome? I love how it came out!

Here is a view from the back, of course, with yellow buttons 😀

A Pirate's Life For Me Beanie

Hello, everyone!

This is the last piece of our pirate-themed assortment, and it's a beanie to go along with the jacket from the last entry.

Here we go:

Isn't this adorable?

Here is one from the back. The beanie has three skulls on it, which basically go all around.

These are a couple of pictures taken of the beanie together with the jacket, so you can see that they make a perfect set.

If you would like to make the Pirate Beanie for yourself, you can click on the link below to get to the pattern and the downloadable pdf file.

A Pirate's Life For Me Jacket

Hello again, everyone!

The next part of our pirate-themed pieces for our new brother is this beautiful jacket. I have a feeling he will really like this....that is, if Luciana is going to let him have it. She got pretty attached to it during her photo shoot 😄

Let's see it:

Isn't that beautiful? We all really love it!

This is what it looks like from the back

As of right now, Luciana is still wearing it, saying she is "breaking it in" for our future brother. Oh, sure....totally believable 😂

A Pirate's Life For Me Reversible Pillow

Hello, doll friends!

To go along with the blanket I showed you in the last entry, Mama also made a reversible pillow.

The pillow is knitted, and the border around it is crocheted.

Here it is:

One side has the white skull on it....

....and the other side has a red skull.

This new brother of ours will sleep very comfy and cozy, that's for sure! 😂

A Pirate's Life For Me Blanket

Hello, doll friends!

Recently, Mama had some amazing news for us: we're getting a brother! We're not exactly sure yet when he will arrive, but we're now slowly getting ready for him, and that includes clothes for him. It's never a problem when we get a new sister because we have tons of clothes for us girls to share, but with a boy it's a totally different story!

Mama said he likes pirates, and with that in mind she made some pirate-themed things for him, which I will show you over the next few entries.

The first one is a blanket, and let me tell you, we're all so jealous of this blanket and want to keep it for ourselves, haha! 😂

Take a look:

Josefina was the lucky one who got to model all of the pirate-themed things!

Isn't that cool? Such a neat blanket!

Brick Wall Doll Photography Backdrop

Hello, everyone!

Unfortunately we don't have a lot of different backgrounds we can use for photography purposes, for example for fashion shoots or other scenes, so Mama came up with the idea that she could make some for us.

She got to work right away, and the result is this beautiful crochet brick wall that we can now use anytime we want.

This will not be the only one Mama will make, and she's thinking about crafting some with other mediums as well.

* You can find the link to the pattern and pdf file at the end of this entry *

Let's take a look:

This is what the backdrop looks like. The top corners are folded in because it was hanging over the back of a chair

And this is what it looks like in action; used as a backdrop. Hiedra was the one who got to model it for us

The great thing about this backdrop is that it can also be used as a small blanket, for example, as a lap afghan or pet blanket. The measurements are 34 inches wide by 54 1/2 inches long.

Hello, everyone!

We have some very special news today! Our sister Maria, who went away for a while has finally returned home, and we're so happy to have her back! *

Of course we had to welcome her properly 😃

Yay, she's finally here!

A big hug from Hiedra.

And another one from Luciana.

And of course a big hug also from Josefina, who is especially happy to have her little sister back home.

* The first Maria, an Our Generation Abril doll, was donated and sent to the EMS Buddy Group on Facebook, which gifts dolls, doll clothes, and accessories to children with life-threatening illnesses. The new Maria (American Girl Truly Me #82) is taking her place, and we just pretend that she went on a trip, and has finally arrived back home 😊

Photo Shoot With Sweet Hiedra

Hi there!

It's me, Hiedra 😊

As fall is finally starting to arrive for us, Mama decided to take me out for a little photo shoot before the air gets too chilly for me to wear my favorite summer outfit.

Here are my pictures:

I hope you like my little excursion. I had lots of fun playing outside!

Bye for now!

💖💖💖 Our sister Hiedra came home! 💖💖💖

Here is our gorgeous sister, in her meet outfit, and with her long brown, blue, and green hair.

Her name, Hiedra, is pronounced Ye-dra, and is Spanish for Ivy.

We are absolutely amazed at how beautiful she is!

And now it's time for hugs and for welcoming her 😊

Here is a picture of all of us together. Our family is getting bigger and bigger!

Photo Shoot With The Gorgeous Josefina

Hello, everyone!

This is my first time posting in this blog since my arrival at home last month. Maria wanted to do a photo shoot with me, and I simply couldn't tell her no 😊

The first three pictures were taken a couple of weeks ago already, after I changed out of my meet dress into modern clothes. You can see my hair was still in its original braid at that time:

The rest of the pictures were taken today. We thought the styling chair would make a fun prop. I'm wearing a new top Mama made. She will have a pattern up for it soon 😉

Here I pulled little sister Luciana into the picture with me, who is also wearing a new sweater Mama recently made. A pattern for this one will be coming soon as well.

By the way, did you know I'm the oldest of all of us?

Until next time!

💖💖💖 Our sister Josefina finally arrived at home! 💖💖💖

Here she is, our gorgeous sister, in her beautiful meet outfit

Such a sweet face, and she has amazing hair

Hello, everyone! I'm Josefina!

We're so eager to greet her

A big hug from her youngest sister Maria

And of course from Luciana too

Here we are all together
(Of course Maria's hair is already a mess again, and her bow is all crooked 😄)

This is such a beautiful picture of us

Welcome Home To The Family, Josefina!
We're so happy you're finally here 💖
