Dolly & Me Yorkie Shorts Outfit

I'm sure you're familiar with the Dolly & Me outfits that are made for human girls and their 18-inch dolls. Well, we are taking this to a completely new level here!

May I present....the Dolly & Me outfit for 18-inch dolls and THEIR dolls!

These adorable outfits were made by My Brittany's. Please note, the outfits DID NOT come together as one bundle! They needed to be purchased separately!

The big outfit includes:

~ 1 t-shirt

~ 1 pair of shorts

The white t-shirt has short sleeves, is waist-length, and features a high neckline. A picture of a Yorkie is printed on the front of the shirt, wearing a pink bow on its head. In the center of the bow three silver rhinestones are attached. The shirt fastens with velcro in the back.

The shorts are pink and have cuffs on the hem. They feature two non-working pockets in the front, and close with velcro.

Here you can see me wearing the outfit.

The small outfit also includes a t-shirt and a pair of shorts. They are the exact duplicate of the bigger outfit. The only difference: the Yorkie on the t-shirt of this outfit does not have any rhinestones in its bow. The t-shirt and shorts fit mini American Girl dolls, or Our Generation Lori dolls.

Some Cute Walmart Finds

Hello, everyone!

Mama came back from Walmart a couple of days ago and had some wonderful surprises for Luciana and me!

Let me show you:

The first surprise was this absolutely adorable Care Bear. Mama said its name is Cheer Bear. Isn't it gorgeous? Look at those beautiful bright colors, the happy and sweet face, and it's also so soft and cuddly. We love it!

Mama told us that Care Bears became very popular in the 1980s, and that even now, almost 40 years later, they're still popular with adults and children of all ages. She thought since we have a lot of Courtney's 80s outfits now, we also need a Care Bear, so she brought this one home to us.

Here you can see how big it is. So fun!

The next surprise were recorders; or flutes, like they are also called sometimes, even though they're different than regular flutes. We got them in mint green, purple, orange, and green. Mama said they came in a package of 8....two per color....and she found them in the Halloween section.

Luciana is holding one of the purple ones in this picture. Aren't they awesome? They are absolutely perfect for us!

We have decided that we want to learn how to play the recorder, so we can make music together. Mama said she will look for children's songs to print out for us. I'm really looking forward to this!

Needless to say, we are very grateful for our new Care Bear companion and our new recorders 😊

Shoes - Rollerskates

Today I would like to show you something really special.

Not long ago, Maria and I received rollerskates; but not just one or two pairs, but four! We absolutely love them, so we would like to share some pictures with you 😊

The first pair is a regular white one. These are so nice because not only are they traditional, but they also match any outfit we'll wear while skating. A fun addition to the traditional white skates are the pink wheels.

The second pair is black and white; also with pink wheels and pink laces. These are so fun! They remind me of the shirts referees wear.

The third pair is really cool! They are pink and a blue-green color and have glitter all over. They look awesome in the sunlight, where they sparkle and shine. These also have pink wheels and laces.

The fourth pair also looks stunning; all in pink with glitter, pink wheels and laces. They really stand out, and we love them a lot!

So, these are our new rollerskates. I hope you like them as much as we do. Mama said they come from amazon, and they came together in a package of four, so now we have plenty of skates to choose from.

My Life As Outdoor Games Play Set

This cute outdoor games play set is sold exclusively at Walmart for the My Life As doll line.

The set contains 13 plastic and fabric pretend items that are perfect for 18-inch dolls for playing in the garden, on the patio, or while camping, and the toys could be used by the dolls for indoor play as well.

The items include:

~ 1 bowling ball

~ 3 Unicorn-shaped bowling pins

~ 1 beanbag toss game board

~ 3 beanbags

~ 1 flower-shaped bubble dish

~ 1 flower-shaped bubble wand

~ 1 bottle of bubble solution

~ 2 sheets of stickers (17 stickers in all)

Fun added features include:

~ The bottle of bubble solution is realistic. It can be poured into the dish, and using the wand, you can blow real bubbles.

~ The beanbags are made out of fabric and filled with little beads or something similar, so tossing them at the game board is just like playing with the bigger, realistic version.


Please note that using the bubble solution should be supervised by an adult, especially with younger children!

I believe this outdoor games set is a wonderful addition to any 18-inch doll collections, and of course for pretend play and photo shoots.

Our Generation Ride Along Scooter

The Ride Along Scooter is manufactured by the Battat Company for the Our Generation doll line, and sold at Target.

This awesome scooter comes in a light pink and cream color, with a brown seat, black wheels, and chrome-colored hardware. It is made entirely out of sturdy plastic.

The scooter features realistic horn and engine sounds, and has working headlights and brake lights. All you have to do is insert 3 AA batteries into the battery compartment. Another amazing feature is that the scooter is compatible with bluetooth and has speakers, so you can listen to your favorite music while cruising around.

You can use the scooter in two different ways: You either ride by yourself or you can bring your dog or cat along; or two of them if they are puppies or kittens. You could also give your mini dolls a ride, or carry supplies; and all this thanks to a sidecar, which can be detached if you feel like riding solo.

Another great feature is the seat, which opens into a compartment, so you can store something in there as well for your ride; for example a snack, or a jacket, or a bag, or anything else you can think of that might fit into the compartment.

Of course we can't forget that safety comes first, and with this in mind the scooter is equipped with a safety belt for the rider, as well as a helmet with a real-working visor. A pair of goggles is available for your furry companion in the sidecar.

The scooter measures 13 inches in height, 17.5 inches in width, and 13 inches in depth.

American Girl Mini Lea

Mini Lea is manufactured by Mattel for American Girl.

She is a beautiful little doll, stands 6 inches tall, and her body is entirely made out of sturdy vinyl. For a small doll her size, she is surprisingly heavy.

She is able to move her head, arms and legs, and is therefore very easy to pose.

Her eyes, skin, and hair color are the same as that of big Lea. She also has the two front teeth showing.

She is dressed identical to her 18-inch counterpart, with the only differences being that she does not have the compass necklace or the messenger bag. However, her dress and shoes are the exact replicas of the bigger doll. All of her clothes are removable.

She comes in a miniature doll box, together with an abridged version of Lea's book "Lea Dives In".

I believe she is a wonderful addition to the collections of American Girl doll fans. Many people use the mini dolls as dolls for their 18-inch dolls, while others collect the mini dolls separately, and give them entire dollhouses and collections of their own.

American Girl Mini Luciana

 

Mini Luciana is manufactured by Mattel for American Girl.

However, her dress, belt, and shoes are the exact replicas of the bigger doll. All of her clothes are removable.

She comes in a miniature doll box, together with an abridged version of Luciana's book "Luciana".
