Doll Poncho Pattern & pdf File

Supplies

~ Worsted weight yarn, 4-medium, any eight colors you choose. I used orange, green, yellow, mint, blue, red, pink, and purple

~ Size 8 (5 mm) knitting needles

~ Stitch holder

~ Yarn needle

~ Crochet hook (needed only to attach the fringe)


Abbreviations

~ st - stitch

~ sts - stitches

~ k - knit


Notes

~ The poncho is worked from the bottom up, and is made entirely in garter stitches, meaning all stitches and rows are knitted; there is no purling involved.

Hello, doll friends!

A couple of months ago Enrique received a sombrero, so he asked Mama if he could have a poncho to go along with it. Mama set to work, and here is Enrique, proudly showing off the result:
