Along with the beautiful Spring Flared Sweater Mama made for us, and which you can see in this entry, she also made us a beret to go along with it.
It's called Spring Beret For American Girl Dolls and is made from a pattern by Janet Longaphie, who has uploaded it on ravelry. The instructions can be found HERE.

Mama used the following yarn: Red Heart Super Saver Ombre in the color Sea Coral. Of course you can use any yarn you like.

And here is a picture together with the coat. You can wear the beret several different ways. It even looks great pushed back and used as a slouchy cap.
