Supplies

~ Red Heart Super Saver Ombre, color: Sea Coral

~ Size 8 (5 mm) knitting needles

~ Yarn needle

* Of course you don't have to use the yarn I used, and you can change the color and type of yarn to whatever you like. *

Abbreviations

~ st - stitch

~ sts - stitches

~ K - knit

~ P - purl

~ inc. - increase

~ stockinette sts - knit one row, purl one row

~ st2tog - stitch two stitches together

~ K2tog - knit two stitches together

Instructions

~ Cast on 40 sts

~ Rows 1-3 - Work in ribs

~ Row 4 - *K 4, inc. 1*, repeat 10 times = 50 sts

~ Rows 5-20 - Work in stockinette sts; row 5 is P

~ Row 21 - *P 3, st2tog*, repeat until row end = 40 sts

~ Row 22 - *K 2, st2tog*, repeat until row end = 30 sts

~ Row 23 - *P 1, st2tog*, repeat until row end = 20 sts

~ Row 24 - *K2tog*, repeat until row end = 10 sts

~ Cut long string, thread onto yarn needle

~ Pull yarn needle with string through 10 remaining sts

~ Pull tight to close

~ Sew back seam closed

~ Make two small pompoms, fasten to two opposite sides of cap

~ Alternatively, you could make one pompom and fasten it to the top of the beanie, or you could simply eliminate the pompoms altogether

~ Weave in all ends

Mama has really been busy with knitting lately. Recently she made us a beautiful coat as well as a matching beret, and once these were done, she decided to add a fun little pompom ears beanie. She made up her own pattern for it.

Spring Beret For American Girl Dolls

Hello, everyone!

Along with the beautiful Spring Flared Sweater Mama made for us, and which you can see in this entry, she also made us a beret to go along with it.

Mama was busy again, and this time she knitted a beautiful coat for us!

This is the front of the coat. You can see how the colors change from lighter to darker or vise versa.

And here is a view of the back. Mama did not plan to make the back in the darker shade or the front in the lighter shades. This was pure fate!

Along with this coat Mama also made a beret as well as a pom pom ears beanie.

5-piece Neon Skeleton Costume

This adorable costume was sold by Amazon (search for seller American Fashion World).

The set consists of:

~ 1 top

~ 1 pair of leggings

~ 2 arm sleeves

~ 1 tutu

The top is black with short, puffy sleeves, and an elastic inside the sleeve hem to keep it laying tight onto the upper arm. The neckline is square, and the front of the neckline has a small black lace overlay. The front of the top features the upper body of a skeleton printed in bright yellow, neon pink, light pink, and neon blue. The top fastens in the back with velcro.

The leggings are black, ankle length, and have an elastic waist. Each leg features two printed skeleton leg bones and a knee joint. On the right leg the colors are bright yellow, neon blue, and neon pink. On the left leg they are neon pink, bright yellow, and neon blue.

The arm sleeves slip onto each arm and reach from the wrist to above the elbow. The sleeves are black, and each one features a printed skeleton arm bone as well as four parallel wrist bones; two per row. The colors for these are bright yellow, neon pink, and neon blue. It's up to the wearer which sleeve to place on which arm.

The tutu has an elastic waist and ends at the knees. It is made out of tulle panels in the colors black, purple, neon blue, bright yellow, and neon pink.

I decided to wear this costume for Halloween 2020, and here you can see me modeling it together with my jack-o-lantern candy bucket, as well as with several pumpkins we got for decoration.

In this picture I'm showing you the top, the leggings, as well as the arm sleeves. The costume looks fabulous worn without the tutu as well.

Please note, the pink headband did not come with the costume. I will show you where it came from very soon in another entry, and then add it here accordingly.

In these pictures I'm also wearing the black Mary Janes as well as the pink glittery flats from THIS entry.

I'm very happy to add this awesome costume to my closet 😊

Bumble Bee Dress

Hello, everyone!

Today I would like to show you another outfit Mama crocheted for us. Just in time for Halloween we have a beautiful costume 😊

This cute outfit is called the Bumble Bee Dress, and was made from a pattern by Adoring Doll Clothes. You can find the instructions HERE.

The set consists of a a dress, a pair of legwarmers, and a hat. The entire outfit is crochet.

I decided to wear it for Halloween 2020, and here you can see me modeling it together with my jack-o-lantern candy bucket, as well as with several pumpkins we got for decoration.

Mama is a member of the Adoring Doll Clothes group on Facebook, and the owner, Pamela, did a Halloween 2020 costume contest, in which the members could participate by crocheting and having their dolls wear one of the many beautiful outfits Pamela created for her website.

Mama decided to make the bumble bee dress, and submitted my picture above, where I'm holding the candy bucket.

Guess what?

We won!!! 😍

Pamela made a video with all of the entries and winner, and Mama linked it on her Facebook. If you want to take a look, Mama's post with the video is right HERE.

And to top it all off, we were sent some absolutely amazing prizes for winning! Let me show you:

We received this totally adorable Halloween bag, which was full of all kinds of goodies; everything Halloween themed.

Inside the bag was a card, three skeins of yarn, two cups, stickies, two pairs of socks (ankle length and knee length), two kitchen towels, two notepads, two pens, a door hanger, a wall decoration, an infinity scarf, a little ghost figure, candy corn, lollipops, and candy bracelets.

So many awesome things! We all were simply blown away by Pamela's generosity!
