Granny Square Car Blanket

I decided to add a section to the blog that is all about the things I knit and crochet, which are not doll related. I thought it would be nice to have this section, especially for people who are not on ravelry, and therefore can't see my designs that are not for the dolls, but instead are for us humans 😊

You will find pictures of the items here, as well as the written patterns. Links to the pdf file and to ravelry, in case you do have an account there, can be found at the end of the post.

Please note: My patterns are free for everyone to enjoy, but in return I would like to ask you to give me credit. You are not allowed to sell the patterns or to claim them as your own, but you are allowed to sell any of the finished projects you make with my patterns.

With this in mind have fun, and happy crocheting and knitting!

Kitty Cat Hat (Adult Size)

Here is a kitty hat that will keep you warm during the colder months of the year, but also lets you make a fashion statement at the same time. The adorable cat face stitched to the front of the hat will surely attract attention and get you noticed.

This is a great project for a beginner knitter; however, you need to be familiar with the duplicate stitch. If you do not have any experience with this method, please look up a tutorial.

The hat is worked in one piece from front to back, and them seamed together on the sides, so basically you will be making a big rectangle that is folded in half to form the hat. The cat face is added to the front with the duplicate stitch method before sewing the sides together.

It is recommended that you read entirely through the pattern before starting with it. If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to contact me.

Have fun, and happy knitting!

Friendship Blanket

This is an easy to crochet blanket, which you can make in any color combinations you can possibly think of. It is a great project for a beginner crocheter, but as with all blankets, it will take some time and patience to finish.

The name "Friendship Blanket" was given to it by a dear friend, whom I made the blanket for as a surprise for Christmas 2021.

It is recommended that you read entirely through the pattern before starting with it. If you have any questions of comments, please feel free to contact me.

Have fun, and happy crocheting!

Doll Play Suit

Hello, doll friends!

After we received our adorable kitty cat hats, which you can find HERE, Mama thought it would be fun for us to have a play suit to go along with the hats, and since the temperatures around here have really been strange, with one day warm and the next day chilly, we can't pack our warm clothes away just yet, so for the colder days we gladly wear our cute new play suits.

Let's take a look at them:

Mama made two versions of the play suit, and here you see Luciana wearing hers, which was made in the First Version. Isn't this cute?

This is the back of Luciana's First Version play suit

As an alternative, here am I, wearing the Second Version play suit, which is going to belong to the new sister we're supposed to meet soon. You can see the difference in the colors of the neckline and shoulders

And here is the Second Version play suit from the back. As in the picture above, you can see the difference in colors for the shoulders

All of us in our new outfits. I love how they match the hats. Across the front, Mama stitched the word "meow", but she included some additional words with the pattern for you to choose from.

From left to right: Luciana in purple, Hiedra in turquoise, Josefina in black, and me in pink.

Luciana's, Josefina's and my suit were made in the First Version, and Hiedra's, as well as the red play suit shown above for our new sister, were made in the Second Version.

If you would like to make the Doll Play Suit for yourself, you can click on the link below to get to the pattern and the downloadable pdf file.

I plan to keep my patterns free for everyone to use, but please make sure to link back to this page for credit. Thank you! 😊
